Arvind Kejriwal eating more sugary food to get medical bail - ED

Enforcement Directorate(ED) says that Arvind Kejriwal is deliberately eating mangoes, sweets and taking sugar with tea to raise his blood sugar level.

ED informs court that Arvind Kejriwal is eating high sugar food despite having Type 2 Diabetes. According to ED Kejriwal is eating Aloo, Puri, sweets, mangoes etc intentionally to prepare grounds for medical bail.

ED says Kejriwal wants to create a ground for bail, citing fluctuations in blood sugar level. Delhi court seeks a report and accused's diet chart from Tihar Jail.

Counsel for Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's advocate Vivek Jain on jailed CM's diet chart said, "The matter is sub-judice before the court. He (Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal) is eating only what has been prescribed by the doctors. This is an issue made by ED so that the home-cooked food is also stopped."

Jail authorities have been asked by the court to submit a report on the diet being consumed by Arvind Kejriwal.
